well, some things are over—not in the melancholic way, in the wheeeeeew, thank-you-higher-power way, mind you—and some things are—happily—looming in my future. grin.
yes, yy today is a much happier yy than she was yesterday.
and as some of you may have heard, i've gotten my Wicked soundtrack!
and it really rocks. both the story and the songs really tug at my heartstrings—pardon the trite line: it's true. if you haven't heard "Defying Gravity" and "I'm Not That Girl", really, go youtube it. something about those songs just move me.
i'm not being all un-subtle when i say this, but if no one gives me the book for christmas, i'm going to borders to buy it. i mean, i think a bright green book would be a great addition to my bookshelf, and well, since i can't go to new york to watch it, i guess i'll just have to settle for the book.
anyways. i'm off to truly enjoy my holidays for the first time since the 6th of december. gods i'm tired.
