whee. got my first ever, solo-effort A+ essay yesterday. yayy! v happy about that, and thus also less stressed about the film exam on thursday. also got news that our IKEA project also got an A! yay!
but i guess the cultural studies A feels less shiok than the Film essay A+, not merely because an A+ is definitely better, but because Film is a more challenging module, and also because I took a risk with that essay, and it totally paid off. whee. it's been a good sem for lit. not like last sem, where i was constantly feeling sooo out of my depth. this sem i feel intelligent, smart. not most intelligent, or smartest, cos, damn, there are some super pro people, especially in 19th century lit—i mean, these people actually finished Middlemarch! haha. i, on the other hand, only finished one. and that was pygmalion, which is like how thin. and of course, Jude, which doesn't count, since i finished that like two years ago. rarr. but i'm happy with my lit modules this sem, and i've pretty much decided to major in lit now, and minor in history.
ok, back to reading for cultural studies.
