the more things change, the more they stay the same

sigh. the exams are a week away today, and all i am is irritated. how am i supposed to study for a module when i don't even know what the module demands from me? intro to world history is seriously, the suckiest module ever. the readings barely connect to the lectures, and the lectures barely connect to each other, and there is seriously no big picture. what kind of questions are going to come out? i don't know, because what can you ask if there's no central thesis. one man, one man is going to pull my cap down more than it should be. i take responsibility for my bad grades when it's my fault, but in this case, it is not. this module has been more stress, more irritation, and more bad grades than any other, ever, and there is not a single redeeming point. even if i were to get a B- or lower for art and history—which i actually might—it wouldn't be a module i regret taking, because i've really learnt a lot from the module. intro to world, on the other hand, has the dubious honour of being the one module that has taught me pretty much next to nothing: worse even than soci 1101E. and all of you other than eeling, maryam and vanessa, believe me when i say that is saying a lot. the birdyman is the new TES.
