well, after a weekend that involved sleeping almost 20 hours from saturday afternoon to sunday past noon and baking a batch of strangely-textured carrot cupcakes, i can say that i've been well and truly rested from the essay-writing phase, and quite ready to enter the mug-for-exams phase. for some reason, i'm feeling quite happy today. not like a griiin on my face, multiple exclamation marks etc kind of OTT haaaappppeeeee, but just, contented, i guess, is the word. petty annoyances just don't quite matter, yes, they annoy me, but they fade from my mind quite soon. instead, i'm just calm, happy, contented. all is happy with yy today.
went with m to vivoh-citee, and bought my pot, finally, as well as groceries, and had a yummsome (surprisingly) cheese donut from the donut shop at vivo, plus a mmmmmm double tall latte. even though the 'barista' was really pathetic.but well. time to go read some lit so i don't fail tmr's test.
