Well, so school started today, pretty much as low-stress and fun as i could have hoped for. started the day with breakfast with Maryam at the Burger King at the new Deck, followed by lunch with M and Eeling (no, i didn't eat, i drank a strawberry milkshake).
which reminds me: yay for the return of the deck!
(okay, it's not the prettiest view on camera, but it looked really good from where we were standing.)
and the fruit stall! i've missed fakey strawberry milkshakes, and even though the price has been upped (bleh), it still tastes goood. i forsee mucho tapows. on the downside, the olive cove seems to have moved permanently to engine, which means no more potato salad, bugger. there goes quick/easy lecture lunches. I can't think of anything that is as mess free, smell free easy to eat during lecture and cheap that can replace the potato salad. pfft.
but well. intro to world lecture was okay, filled with much sniggering at two buffoons that we have the misfortune of being saddled with. urgh. it may have been funny today, but the rest of the sem....urghle.
after maryam finished her US lecture, we went to vivo, so i could go to the bank and the supermarket, and of course we stopped at boost!
the pictures are a little out of focus, cos i was trying to hurry since the guy was giving me weird looks, but well, boost rocks my socks. even if it is one of those once a month at the very most kind of things $6 a cup is not cheap, even if it is a substantial amount of smoothie.
and now, i am just too. pooped.
yy needs sleep.
