it's been a great weekend. an excellent cap to a rather stressful week.
friday was a good japanese lunch at a REALLY GREAT japanese restaurant at chijmes, and a tour of ACM's "Mystery Men" exhibition. made cinnamon pancakes when i got home, and ate them with golden syrup and butter. mmm. saturday was spent lazing around, tapping out the beginnings of the Open House article, realising halfway that i had misunderstood my assignment. *rolls eyes* after that, of course, was time to leave for a "shopping trip" and phantom of the opera! (more on that in the previous entry).
today i spent finishing that article, and making food packages for myself. made like 30 pancakes or something, packaged them up to store in my fridge in case of middle-of-the-day-or-night munchies. just finished baking a brownie, also for the same purpose. haha. nothing like puttering around in the kitchen to make me happy. :)
